Sample description myself dating
The drydown is nice and earthy and i get some -woodiness,patchouli,cedar and vetiver. Once it gets a bit into the dry down I like it more, kind of like a dad who has good taste in aftershave ate an orange.
It faded quite quickly and didn't project much beyond the opening 5-10 minutes, though. It is not a fragrance that will take you on holidays to a seaside town, its a working in the sun scent possibly picking oranges in an orchard in a sunny country town somewhere in Europe. When they use percentages it always means the fragrance portion, and does not include the perfumer's alcohol content, from what I understand. What the guy on the Raiders of the Lost Scent does is his own personal testing.I got a bottle of TDH in 2008 and I remember giving it away because I couldn’t stomach the initial blast of pepper. Also, with the original I felt more development and the orange note that this scent is supposed to have was very natural, a little sweet, and it was extremely long-lasting.
This vertically structured scent is based on an alchemy of wood, the scent first introduces the gaity of orange, the bitterness of grapefruit and the vivacity of pepper and of fresh spices.
